The hood is equipped with vertically rising sashes featuring a high-safety counterbalance mechanism. The counterweights are located on the rear exterior panel of the hood. The lifting screen, made of 5mm thick glass, can be raised from 0 to 700 mm and fixed at any height.
A dual-level extraction system ensures uniform airflow throughout the main chamber of the hood. Air is exhausted from the working chamber via a D=250 mm flange.
