Laminar flow cabinets were developed to protect laboratory personnel, ensure environmental safety, and safeguard working materials from the influence of infectious volatile compounds and exposure to particles that may arise when working with substances containing infectious components. Such particles are invisible to the human eye but can pose a serious health risk.
The correct choice of laminar flow cabinets in a laboratory is a highly effective means of preventing and avoiding staff contamination due to volatile emissions.
Each biological safety cabinet is manufactured and configured individually, allowing it to fully meet the specific requirements presented by the customer.
- Base: A collapsible frame made of rectangular metal profile 50x50 mm.
- Main components of the work box are manufactured from solid sheet metal, 2 mm thick, formed on specialized equipment without welding.
- All metal parts have a chemically resistant coating – hard enamel. Powder-coated chemically resistant paint is applied electrostatically and baked in an oven.
- Parts are assembled using threaded rivets and stainless steel bolts.
- Work surface material: Stainless steel, resistant to corrosion when exposed to aggressive substances.
- Side walls of the work zone are made of impact-resistant armored glass, 5 mm thick.
- Rear wall: Equipped with a 300 mm high splash guard made of stainless steel.
- Product and operator protection is ensured by two high-quality U15 and H14 ULPA and HEPA filters with a cleaning efficiency of 99.9998% for MPPS and 99.9999% for particles sized 0.3 µm and 0.12 µm (values given for typical penetration). The average service life of ULPA and HEPA filters depends on environmental conditions and daily operating time.
