Terma-X series drying ovens for mineral samples provide efficient and uniform drying thanks to their thoughtful design and reliable technical specifications. They are used for drying raw materials in an air environment. Their main function is to dry various types of samples.
Samples are placed on shelves of a stainless steel cart, and the cart is loaded into the drying oven. The oven can accommodate from one to four carts. The ovens can also be used for various analytical tests involving thermal exposure of samples.
The operating temperature range inside the drying chamber is from +35 to +250 °C, maintained uniformly throughout the entire volume. Thanks to an improved thermal insulation system, even at high operating temperatures, the oven exhibits low heat emission.
FRAME
The frame is made of various cold-rolled steel profiles (2 mm) with anti-corrosion protection. The outer casing consists of steel sheets (1.5–2 mm) cut on high-precision laser equipment. The tightness of the door closure is ensured by a heat-resistant seal and a reliable locking mechanism. The exterior is coated with powder paint.
WORKING CHAMBER
The working chamber is made of high-quality stainless steel sheets of grades AISI 304 and AISI 430. Steel of these grades is not susceptible to corrosion in scratched areas and is resistant to various chemicals. This preserves the original appearance during long-term operation. The steel sheets are joined using professional equipment with argon arc and spot welding. A heat-resistant fan is installed inside the drying chamber to reduce uneven temperature distribution.
THERMAL INSULATION
Industrial drying ovens feature three-layer thermal insulation using a high-quality and durable insulating material. The thickness of the thermal insulation layer is 70 mm. This achieves a low level of heat loss and casing heating. Features and advantages: • The oven doors can be opened from the inside using a special lever; • Temperature is controlled via an electronic control panel located on the side of the drying oven; • The ovens are equipped with an overheating protection system. • The oven is supplied fully equipped and assembled.
